Application
OLI-NATURA hard wax oil for interior wood treatment combines the best properties of wax and oil. While the oil penetrates the wood and protects it from within, the wax forms a durable, water-repellent surface film.
The wood remains open-pored and able to breathe, thereby positively influencing the indoor climate. The wood's natural color and grain are beautifully accentuated, and the surface feels pleasant to the touch. Hard wax oil is highly economical; only one or two applications with a brush or roller are required.
The surface is easy to maintain and can also be refurbished in specific areas. In 2017, the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) awarded the product the "Allergy-friendly Quality" seal.
Hard wax oil is ideal for all exposed, untreated, sanded, or new wooden surfaces, as well as for OSB and cork in indoor areas. Whether used on solid wood or framed furniture, wall paneling, doors, kitchen cabinetry, parquet flooring, or staircases, it creates a durable wood surface with excellent resistance to household chemicals and liquids.
The oil is unpigmented. However, the wood's natural color and grain are slightly enhanced—an effect often desired for light-colored woods such as spruce, pine, maple, ash, or hornbeam. The degree of intensification depends on the type of wood used.
An oiled wood surface feels pleasantly warm and velvety soft. This effect is enhanced when the oil is rubbed into the wood using a white pad, giving the surface a noticeably natural matte finish. Without polishing, the surface appears slightly glossier.
Note: The color of the treated object depends on several factors: the type and composition of the wood, the base tone of the wood, the sanding of the wood, and the user's individual working method.
