Application
The OLI-NATURA project oil is based on modified vegetable oils such as linseed oil, medical grade isoparaffin, and lead and cobalt free driers. We consciously refrain from using critical substances such as preservatives, formaldehyde, fragrances, biocides, cobalt salts and oxime.
The product dries highly plastically inside the wood in contact with atmospheric oxygen. The oil surface remains open and breathable. Due to its openness to diffusion (permeability to water vapour), the treated wood can store moisture from the room air and release it again if necessary. This improves the indoor climate and enhances the well-being of people.
The cured material is harmless to humans, animals and plants. It complies with DIN EN 71-3 (toy safety) and DIN 53160 (saliva and perspiration resistance) and is a building product approved by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt).

Characteristics
Processing: Sand the wooden surface carefully, start with coarse sanding, then finish sanding for furniture P180-240, for floors P100-150. Wood moisture content: 8–12%. The surface must be dry, well cleaned and free of oils, wax, grease, silicone and sanding dust. Process material at room temperature and shake/mix well.
Furniture: Apply a thin layer of oil with a brush in the direction of the grain. Leave for about 20-30 minutes. Now remove the excess oil with a cotton cloth or oil absorbent cloth. The surface should now be dry to the touch. If necessary, use a white / beige pad for large areas. If necessary, after overnight drying, a second application can be carried out without intermediate sanding.
Floors: Apply oil evenly and thinly with an oil roller or flat brush. Work in sections between 5 and 15 m². Leave for about 20-30 minutes. Now massage with a white/beige pad by hand or with a polishing machine and remove the excess oil with a cotton cloth or oil absorbent cloth. The surface should now be dry to the touch. After drying overnight, apply a second coat without intermediate sanding.
Consumption: 1-2 layers I Depending on the absorbency of the wood 40-50 g / m² per layer (20-25 m² / l)
Drying: Depending on humidity / temperature, the surface dries after 1-2 hours and fully hardens after 2-3 days. Keep away from water during this time.
Note: Oil-soaked fabrics / pads may self-ignite due to heat build-up! Therefore, clean them immediately after use or keep them under water. The product itself is not self-igniting.
